About Keep Talking and Nobody Explodes
Keep Talking and Nobody Explodes puts a player alone with a bomb while friends act as “Experts” consulting a manual. The Experts cannot see the bomb, so communication must be rapid and precise to defuse the device before time expires. The game supports local co‑op, remote voice chat, and VR, offering a tense, fast‑paced party experience for two or more players. Procedurally generated puzzles keep each round fresh, and a free manual is available for all participants.

Gameplay Loop
One player, the Defuser, sees a bomb composed of several modules. The other players, the Experts, consult the free Bomb Defusal Manual to give instructions on how to solve each module. The Defuser relays module details, and the Experts describe the required actions. The round ends when all modules are solved or time runs out.
Each round is timed, and the difficulty rises as new modules appear in later missions. The game tracks success with Steam Achievements and leaderboards.
- Speak clearly and confirm module names before giving instructions.
- Use the manual’s index to locate module pages quickly.

Game Modes
The core experience includes Mission Mode, where preset challenges increase in difficulty, and Free Play Mode, which lets players configure custom bombs and set their own pace. Both modes support the same communication mechanics.
Free Play Mode becomes available after progressing through missions, allowing players to experiment with bomb configurations without preset constraints.
- Start with simple missions to learn module types.
- In Free Play, test unusual module combinations for practice.

- Browse the Workshop for modules that match your group’s skill level.
- Test new community modules in Free Play before adding them to missions.
