About Kart Racing Pro
Kart Racing Pro is a realistic karting simulator built as a training tool for real drivers. It uses a custom physics engine that reproduces kart dynamics, tyre behavior, chassis flex, and changing track conditions such as wetness, drying and groove buildup.
The title supports steering wheels, keyboards, joysticks and gamepads, and offers LAN and online multiplayer through an integrated matchmaking server. It also includes VR support, CSV telemetry export, a plugins interface and a full modding suite for tracks, karts, engines, helmets and visual skins.

Physics & Setup
The core of Kart Racing Pro is a scratch‑built physics engine that simulates realistic kart dynamics, an automotive‑industry‑standard tyre model, chassis flex and dynamic track surface changes such as wet‑track simulation, drying and groove buildup. These systems react directly to driver inputs and to the available setup options.
Because the simulation mirrors real‑world behavior, it can serve as a training aid. Adjusting the available setup options produces observable differences in handling, which can be measured through lap times or the exported telemetry data.
- Record lap times after each setup change to see its effect on performance.
- Observe how grip varies when the track surface transitions from wet to dry.

Control Options
A steering wheel is strongly recommended for the most authentic feel, but the game also supports keyboards, joysticks and gamepads. This partial controller support lets players choose any of those devices without requiring a specific peripheral.
All supported devices map the essential kart functions—steering, throttle and brake—so players can drive using their preferred hardware. No additional input methods are required beyond those listed.
- Test a keyboard for quick setup, then try a joystick to evaluate its analog input.
- If a steering wheel is available, compare its feel to the other supported devices.

Multiplayer & Matchmaking
Kart Racing Pro lets users host or join races via an integrated matchmaking server, supporting both LAN and online PvP. Each race involves real participants, as the title contains no AI drivers.
During events the system collects race data, providing statistics that drivers can compare after the session. This data includes lap times and other performance metrics useful for analysis.
- Prefer LAN races when low latency is important.
- Review the post‑race statistics to identify areas for improvement.

Telemetry & Plugins
The simulator outputs CSV files with telemetry data to analyze driving sessions. Drivers can import these files into external tools for post‑session analysis.
A plugins interface streams real‑time data to external programs, enabling live dashboards or custom training utilities that react to the kart’s current state.
- Import CSV telemetry into a spreadsheet to graph speed versus throttle.
- Use a third‑party plugin to display live telemetry on a second monitor.

Modding & Customisation
Advanced users can build new tracks, karts, engines, helmets and paint schemes using the provided tools. Full modding support means these assets can be integrated directly into the game.
Custom visual assets such as kart skins, helmets and suits can be imported, allowing personalisation of the driver’s appearance.
- Start with the official track editor tutorial before attempting complex circuits.
- Create a simple custom paint scheme and test it in a private race to verify import works.
