About Jurassic World Evolution 3
Jurassic World Evolution 3 lets you build and run a Jurassic park, synthesising, breeding and nurturing over 85 prehistoric species. Seventy‑five of those can be managed across generations, with distinct female, male and juvenile variants that form families and display new social behaviours.
The title adds terrain editing, modular scenery and an Island Generator that creates a unique map each playthrough. New attractions such as Balloon Tours, Dinosaur Encounters and Cretaceous Cruises expand guest experiences, while the Frontier Workshop enables cross‑platform sharing of community‑created parks, buildings and enclosures.
01 / THE GUIDE
Dinosaur Breeding
You can manage, breed and nurture families of 75 species, guiding each from juvenile to adult stages. Every dinosaur appears in female, male and juvenile variants, allowing you to observe how families develop over generations.
The system tracks genetic inheritance, so offspring receive traits from their parents. Watching these lineages evolve gives insight into each species’ social needs and behavioural changes as they age.
- Monitor family composition to keep breeding pairs healthy.
- Note how juveniles develop into adults as they mature.

Terrain Editing
Groundbreaking terrain editing tools let you shape naturalistic enclosures using steep slopes and modular scenery. You can build and tweak every aspect of the park from the ground up, matching habitats to each dinosaur’s environment.
These tools complement the Island Generator, which generates a custom map that is unique every time before you place enclosures.
- Use slope tools to match the topography of a species’ native habitat.
- Combine different scenery pieces for a more realistic enclosure.

New Attractions
The game introduces attractions like the Balloon Tour, Dinosaur Encounter and Cretaceous Cruise. Balloon Tours are among the new attractions, while Dinosaur Encounters let guests see and touch prehistoric animals up close, and the Cruise offers a watery perspective of the park.
These attractions are integrated into the park layout and can be placed alongside dinosaur habitats, adding variety to the guest experience.
- Consider the visual theme of an attraction when positioning it.
- Balance attraction placement with available space for enclosures.

Island Generator
The Island Generator creates a custom map that is unique each time you start a new game. This system generates the terrain layout before any construction begins, with each map unique every time.
Because each map differs, you must explore the generated landscape to identify suitable areas for enclosures, attractions and infrastructure, shaping your overall park strategy from the outset.
- Survey the generated terrain before committing to enclosure locations.
- Adapt your park plan to the natural features presented by each map.
