About Iratus: Lord of the Dead
Iratus: Lord of the Dead puts you in the role of the freed necromancer Iratus, commanding an army of undead soldiers such as skeletons, zombies, banshees and more. You build minions from the body parts of slain foes, expand a subterranean lair, and research rituals to strengthen your forces.
The game blends tactical combat with roguelike permanence: minions that die are lost forever and the save system is automatic. With four talent trees, nearly one‑hundred abilities, and multiple difficulty levels, Iratus offers a dark‑fantasy strategy experience for both newcomers and hardcore players.

Creating Minions
Iratus lets you craft obedient servants by using body parts harvested from enemies you defeat. Each new minion belongs to a type—zombie, vampire, skeleton, mummy, banshee, etc.—and gains six unique abilities.
The variety of body‑part combinations yields nineteen distinct servant types, giving players many tactical options for assembling an army that matches their preferred playstyle.
- Experiment with different enemy parts to discover new servant types.
- Consider the six abilities of each minion when planning your battlefield roles.

Talent Trees
Four talent trees—Alchemy, Magic, Ire, and Destruction—allow you to shape Iratus’s abilities and influence how you command your army. Selecting talents changes the strategic options available during combat.
Each tree focuses on a different aspect of necromancy, letting you tailor your approach whether you favor spellcasting, raw damage, or supportive rituals.
- Mix talents from different trees to create hybrid strategies.
- Focus on one tree if you prefer a clear, specialized playstyle.
