About Intergalactic Fishing
Intergalactic Fishing casts you as an angler investigating a mysterious die‑off affecting lakes across the universe. You travel aboard a high‑tech BOAT, explore both populated and procedurally generated lakes, and gather data while catching fish.
The game blends exploration, simulation, and sandbox progression. You can design custom lures, accept fish contracts, compete in tournaments, and continue earning goals through the Intergalactic Fishing Society after the main quest is finished.

Lake Exploration
The universe contains countless lakes, including dozens of populated lakes in the ULT Network and uncharted lakes generated procedurally. Each lake presents a distinct environment and a unique set of fish species to discover.
Exploration is unrestricted: you may roam any lake at any time, collect data, and return to the main quest whenever you wish, giving you full control over pacing and the order in which you investigate lakes.
- Compare visual cues of known ULT Network lakes with uncharted ones to anticipate new species.

Fish Behavior Simulation
Every fish in a lake is individually simulated, reacting to its species, size, habits, lure preferences, time of day, and surrounding environment. This depth lets you learn specific patterns that affect bite likelihood.

The Buoyant Object for Above‑Water Travel (BOAT) is equipped with a Universal Lake Teleporter that enables near‑instant travel to lakes all over the universe, and underwater jets that provide precise maneuverability while fishing.
The BOAT also houses a lure fabricator for on‑demand custom lure creation and several module slots that let you tailor the craft’s capabilities to different fishing scenarios.
