About Infernax
Infernax follows a knight who returns to a homeland cursed by unholy magic. The player roams a dangerous open world, discovers secret areas, and faces ruthless monsters while exploring castle dungeons filled with boss encounters.
Progress is shaped by a level‑up system, purchases from the blacksmith, and skill unlocks. A new co‑op mode adds the squire Cervul for local split‑screen or hot‑swap play, letting two participants share the quest.
01 / THE GUIDE
Multiple Endings
The game records each major decision—such as slaying or helping a character—and uses those choices to determine which side quests become available later in the adventure.
Because side‑quest availability changes with the player’s actions, the collection of quests completed can lead to different narrative conclusions at the end of the game.
- Write down early choices to see how they affect later options.
- Replay a scene with the opposite decision to compare quest outcomes.

Castle Dungeons & Boss Battles
Players explore castle dungeons that are described as challenging and contain numerous boss battles, requiring preparation through gear and skill choices before entering.
The presence of many bosses encourages players to upgrade weapons and armor, so preparing gear and skills beforehand is a sensible approach.
- Observe a boss’s pattern before committing fully.
- Upgrade equipment to match the rising difficulty.

Level‑Up System
Combat grants experience that can be allocated to increase life, mana, or damage, allowing players to tailor their character’s strengths to personal preference.
New items can be purchased and skills unlocked to help on the quest, supporting varied builds and playstyles.
- Balance health and damage upgrades for tougher encounters.
- Consider mana boosts if you favor skill‑based attacks.

Open World & Secret Areas
The game features a unique open world with many secret areas that can be uncovered by exploring off‑the‑main path, rewarding curiosity with additional content.
Hidden locations may contain extra challenges, items, or story elements, encouraging players to investigate landmarks that hint at concealed passages.
- Take time to explore map corners rather than rushing forward.
- Mark landmarks that may indicate hidden routes.

Co‑op Mode with Cervul
A new mode lets a second player join as the squire Cervul, either in standard local split‑screen co‑op or in a hot‑swap single‑player setup where one player switches between characters.
Cervul provides various tools that can influence victory or ruin, and the mode is rebalanced for two participants, offering shared or split‑screen play.
- Coordinate the knight’s attacks with Cervul’s tools for tougher fights.
- Try hot‑swap control to manage both characters if playing alone.
