About Idle Abyss Princesses
Idle Abyss Princesses is a desktop idle loot RPG where you select one of eight heroines, equip gear, and let her fight automatically. You can later inspect drops, swap equipment, and watch how far the character progresses.
The game offers a ten‑region campaign, solo and co‑op modes, leaderboards, and weekly rules. It runs on Windows and macOS (including Apple Silicon) and supports English, Chinese, and Japanese, plus Steam achievements, cloud saves, and family sharing.
01 / THE GUIDE
Heroine Classes
Eight heroines—Warrior, Mage, Paladin, Hunter, Mechanist, Dragon Princess, Necromancer, and Cultivator—each feature a unique resource mechanic, six skills, three talent paths, and class‑specific equipment. Their combat styles range from melee swordplay to summoning skeletons or transforming into a dragon.
Each heroine can have up to three skills equipped simultaneously, and runes and talents can modify how those skills behave. Gear choices may shift a build toward basic attacks instead of skill casts, allowing varied strategies within the same class.
- Compare talent trees across heroines to see which aligns with your preferred resource mechanic.
- Swap active skills temporarily to discover synergistic combos before committing to a build.

Gear System
Players fill twelve equipment slots with legendary effects, class sets, and Ancient or Primal pieces. Gear can be refined through enhancement, enchanting, gems, and extracted Cube powers, while oddities grant unusual benefits that also carry drawbacks.
Gear heavily influences builds; some pieces reshape abilities toward basic attacks rather than skill casts. Collecting gear, testing it on training dummies, and browsing leaderboards help determine the most effective combinations for your heroine.
- Use the training dummy to verify damage output after gear changes.
- Balance oddities with their drawbacks to avoid unintended penalties.

Progression & Campaign
The campaign spans ten regions and then opens higher difficulties, timed rifts, weekly rules, and expeditions. Normal and Heroic modes support solo play with separate loot rules, while Mythic is limited to groups.
When progress slows, you may remain at the current stage to farm, then adjust skills, resistances, or recovery before advancing. Leaderboards display other players' builds for inspiration.
- Farm at a plateau before tweaking skills to maximize efficiency.
- Review leaderboard builds to discover alternative gear or talent setups.

Co‑op Play
The Court mode supports parties of two to four players, featuring boss fights, gear auctions, and shared gold‑ingot payouts. Normal and Heroic also allow solo play with distinct loot rules, while Mythic remains group‑only.
Co‑op and Steam‑wide leaderboards require online services, but single‑player content can be played offline. Shared account storage lets useful drops be kept for another character.
- Coordinate gear auctions with teammates to distribute valuable items efficiently.
- Utilize shared storage to preserve rare drops for future characters.

Desktop Widget Mode
Idle Abyss Princesses can run in a full window or as a transparent, always‑on‑top desktop widget, allowing you to keep the game visible while working on other tasks and monitoring progress.
Battles continue while the window is minimized, but no rewards are granted if the game is closed or the computer sleeps. Certain camp tasks also require the game to stay running.
- Place the widget in a corner to monitor progress without obstructing other applications.
- Keep the game running if you want camp tasks to complete.
