About Horror Night
Horror Night drops players into an abandoned mansion where survivors must solve randomized puzzles while avoiding a player‑controlled creature. The game is a free‑to‑play asymmetric multiplayer experience that rewards teamwork, puzzle completion, and successful rescues.
Survivors can personalize their appearance with hairstyles, outfits, accessories, and lamps, while the creature selects a skin and can improve its skills by eating rats. Progression unlocks new items, and a store offers additional cosmetics purchasable with earned or bought coins.

Gameplay Basics
Matches are played in third‑person view. Survivors move through the mansion, interact with objects by pressing E, and solve puzzles that are randomized each round. The creature hunts survivors, aiming to catch all of them before they escape.
Portals and wardrobes act as teleportation points, allowing both survivors and the creature to move quickly between areas. These shortcuts can be used to flee danger or to cut off escape routes.
- Note portal locations early to plan escape routes.
- Use the E key for all object interactions to keep momentum.

Survivor Role
Survivors must cooperate to locate clues, solve puzzles, and collect skulls from fallen teammates. Bringing all skulls to the resurrection ritual revives survivors and contributes to the team's success.
Teamwork is emphasized; helping teammates and completing puzzles yields in‑game rewards. The description states “Teamwork is essential!” for progressing toward escape.
- Communicate skull locations to speed up the ritual.
- Share puzzle solutions promptly to avoid duplicate searching.

Monster Role
The creature selects a skin and can improve its skills by eating rats found in the mansion. Skill improvement occurs during a match and is tied to the monster’s actions.
Crouching provides a speed boost for the monster, allowing it to close distances more quickly and increase the chance of catching survivors before they escape.
- Eat rats when safe to gain skill improvements.
- Crouch when pursuing survivors to benefit from the speed boost.
