About Heroes & Generals

Heroes & Generals delivers a massive, persistent war where thousands of players clash for control of cities. The first side to seize fifteen locations wins the match, and every action—from a single kill to a tank demolition—feeds into the overall outcome. Players can pick from infantry, recon, tank crews, paratroopers, or fighter pilots, each offering distinct combat experiences. Progression is driven by unlocking weapons, vehicles, and combat badges while climbing toward the rank of General, who can strategize and allocate resources.

Game Modes

The core mode pits two nations against each other in a continuous struggle for fifteen cities. Battles occur across a variety of scales, from close‑quarter infantry fights to large‑scale land and aerial assaults. Every victory or defeat influences the war’s overall progress.

Matches run persistently, allowing players to join at any time and contribute to the front lines. The outcome of each battle feeds into the collective push toward city capture.

  • Join a battle early to help shape the front before it becomes crowded.
  • Coordinate with teammates to focus fire on strategic objectives.
