About Helle's Undersea City Project - Bringing Air to The Garden

Hele's Undersea City Project is a simulation where you rebuild the ruined ocean‑floor settlement of Garden. Guided by the main character Hele Tokitsumi, you cultivate land, grow air‑producing Mira Flowers, and construct over fifty buildings to restore the city’s vitality.

The game runs in single‑player mode on Windows, offering three difficulty levels—Easy, Normal, and Hard. Playtime to finish the story is estimated at ten to twelve hours, and the experience is enriched by a cast of more than thirty resident “dot‑pictures” that add personality to your growing town.

01 / THE GUIDE

Air Production and Mira Flowers

Buildings require air to function, and air is supplied by Mira Flowers. To plant a Mira Flower, the land must first be raised to grade 2 through accumulated prosperity value.

Different Mira Flower types have varying supply ranges, amounts, and air‑cylinder accumulation, making them central to strategic city expansion based on the surrounding environment.

  • Observe which Mira Flower types give the highest supply range for your map layout.
  • Balance planting multiple flower types to maintain steady air flow as you expand.

02 / THE GUIDE

Building Types and Requirements

The game features over fifty buildings split into four categories: Dwellings, Production facilities, Processing facilities, and Commercial facilities. Each building provides distinct benefits, such as housing residents or generating money from resources.

All buildings need a continuous air supply and must be connected to the road network to become operational, emphasizing careful planning of infrastructure.

  • Prioritize road connections early to avoid later re‑routing.
  • Place dwellings near air sources to keep residents supplied.

03 / THE GUIDE

Exploration Boats and Item Gathering

Exploration missions send a boat into the deep sea to collect recipes, Mira Flower seeds, mysterious parts, and area‑liberation items. Boats have three parameters—HP, air, and payload—that can be upgraded with money.

Purchasable items also aid exploration, allowing you to strengthen your boat and improve the chances of retrieving valuable resources for city development.

  • Upgrade payload first to carry more items per trip.
  • Keep an eye on boat HP and air to avoid mission failure.

04 / THE GUIDE

Research and Unlocking New Content

Items gathered from exploration can be researched to unlock new buildings, Mira Flower seeds, and special functions like area release or tourist events. Research progresses the story and expands the toolbox for city planning.

Active research is described as a key activity for further enjoyment, encouraging players to continually convert collected items into functional upgrades.

  • Focus research on items that unlock new building categories.
  • Track which research unlocks tourist events for additional income.

Characters, Narrative, and Setting

You play as a stuffed sheep sent to the underwater city of Garden, where Hele Tokitsumi leads the effort to revive the community after the disappearance of Yona Kujira. Over thirty resident characters, including cute animals, appear as dot‑pictures.

The narrative unfolds through interactions with these characters and the broader lore of the ancient city built after a fire‑engulfed earth, providing a story‑driven backdrop to the simulation.

  • Engage with each resident to discover unique dialogue snippets.
  • Observe how character personalities influence building placement preferences.
