About Hell Clock
Hell Clock places you in 19th‑century Brazil, where the town of Canudos became a refuge before a brutal retaliation left 25,000 dead. You play as Pajeú, a warrior seeking to rescue his mentor’s soul while battling undead forces that embody the era’s oppression.
The game delivers a three‑act story campaign and an Endgame Ascension system. Players can choose between Relaxed and Hardcore difficulty, explore Hell Mode, and modify Relics through Imbuing, Tools, or Corruption for varied loot and effects.

Story and Setting
Set after the Canudos massacre, Hell Clock follows Pajeú as he descends through warped time to free his mentor’s soul. Each descent reveals more of Brazil’s dark past, present, and future, tying narrative beats to the player’s progress.
The campaign is divided into three acts, each advancing the tale of resistance and justice. Nightmarish incarnations of those who tried to bury the truth appear as bosses, reinforcing the game’s focus on historical wrongs.
