About Haste

Haste thrusts players into a collapsing universe where high‑speed third‑person running is the only way to survive. Across ten distinct Shards, each packed with procedurally generated levels, you race against time, gathering items and mastering movement before the world crumbles.

The game blends single‑player and online co‑op modes, letting you team up with other Zoes while still tracking individual times. With four biomes, four abilities, over ninety items, and an unlockable endless mode, Haste offers a shifting challenge that rewards speed, precision, and clever builds.

01 / THE GUIDE

Shard Structure

Haste contains ten Shards, each a collection of procedurally generated levels that must be cleared without fail before the next Shard opens. This structure forces a flawless run through each group to progress.

Finishing all Shards also unlocks an endless mode, giving players a limitless arena to test speed and item combos beyond the progression.

  • Experiment with different item builds per shard.
  • Focus on consistent landings to preserve speed.

02 / THE GUIDE

Item System

During runs you collect Sparks, which can be spent in shop levels to manifest items. Items influence variables such as speed, damage, luck, health, and more.

With over ninety items available, you can tailor each attempt’s build to suit the challenges of a specific Shard, experimenting with different stat mixes.

  • Balance speed and health items for longer runs.
  • Swap items between attempts to discover effective combos.

03 / THE GUIDE

Movement Mechanics

Speed is central, and every landing either builds momentum or costs it. Hitting the ground running accelerates you, while a mistimed landing slows progress.

Players must constantly read changing surroundings and react quickly to avoid the collapsing world, making precise jumps and landings essential for survival.

  • Practice timing jumps to maintain momentum.
  • Watch terrain changes to anticipate safe landings.

04 / THE GUIDE

Co‑op Play

Online co‑op lets you run the entire game alongside other Zoes, sharing progression while each player’s level times are recorded for friendly competition.

Unlockable skins differentiate teammates, and the shared time tracking encourages players to improve personal speed without affecting the cooperative objective.

  • Coordinate item choices to cover each other's weaknesses.
  • Use time tracking to set personal speed goals.

05 / THE GUIDE

Biomes and Bosses

Four distinct biomes provide varied visual themes and terrain, each housing a unique boss encounter that tests the player’s mastery of the game’s abilities.

Mastering the four available abilities is key to defeating these bosses, as each boss reacts differently to speed, damage, luck, and health modifications.

  • Observe each biome’s layout to anticipate boss patterns.
  • Match abilities to boss weaknesses for smoother clears.
