About Happy's Humble Burger Cult
Happy's Humble Burger Cult drops you into a fast‑food kitchen where you must grill, fry, pour, and register orders while a ticking clock pushes you toward a collapsing simulation. When the experiment fails, the mascot Asset Joy hunts, and you must escape with whatever cash you’ve earned.
The game blends chaotic first‑person cooking with horror, offering up to four players to cooperate on quota‑driven shifts across six restaurants. Earnings can be spent on boosters, sacrificed for story progression, or risked on tougher contracts, while a lobby area provides mini‑games and a social space.
01 / THE GUIDE
Core Gameplay Loop
Players prepare burgers, fries, drinks, and desserts, then serve customers before the shift timer expires. Hitting the quota is essential to survive each night and to trigger the escape phase when the monster appears.
The kitchen’s pace accelerates as the simulation collapses, forcing quick decisions. Closing the shop and fleeing is the final step once Asset Joy begins her hunt.
- Prioritize orders that count most toward the quota.
- Keep an eye on the timer to know when to start the escape.
02 / THE GUIDE
Audio Incantations
The game listens to your microphone; saying certain words can trigger reactions. Wrong words anger Asset Joy, while correct incantations warp the kitchen to your advantage.
Learning which phrases are safe and which are dangerous becomes a strategic layer, as the right incantation can alter the environment during a shift.
- Test phrases in a quiet environment before a live shift.
- Avoid profanity to prevent penalties.

03 / THE GUIDE
Modifiers & Shifts
Each shift includes 35+ modifiers that change gameplay, such as Rush Hour adding customers, Profanity Policy punishing swearing, and Midmaxxing altering appliance temperatures.
These modifiers ensure no two runs feel the same, creating unique challenges that test both speed and coordination.
- Review active modifiers before starting a shift.
- Adjust cooking temperatures early if Midmaxxing is active.
04 / THE GUIDE
Escape & Earnings
Surviving the hunt lets you leave with cash earned during the shift. That money can buy boosters, be sacrificed in an ascension ritual to advance the story, or be wagered on harder contracts.
Managing earnings balances immediate upgrades against long‑term progression, adding a risk‑reward decision after each escape.
- Save some cash for boosters before spending on rituals.
- Consider the payout of harder contracts versus the risk of failure.

Multiplayer & Lobby
Up to four players can cooperate online, sharing tasks to meet quotas and survive. The lobby area offers mini‑games and a social space before shifts begin.
Co‑op play emphasizes communication, especially when using microphone incantations, making teamwork crucial for both speed and survival.
- Assign specific roles (grill, fry, register) to each player.
- Use the lobby mini‑games to warm up voice commands.
