About Halo Infinite

Halo Infinite delivers an open‑world campaign where players step into Master Chief’s armor to confront a ruthless foe on Zeta Halo. The story can be played solo or with up to three teammates via network co‑op, and Mission Replay lets you revisit missions for missed collectibles.

The game also offers a free‑to‑play multiplayer suite with more than 70 maps, ranked and custom modes, and a wave‑based Firefight: King of the Hill. Forge Beta adds a visual‑scripting editor, object scaling, lighting, audio, and an AI Toolkit for community‑made maps.

01 / THE GUIDE

Campaign Co‑Op

The campaign supports solo play and network co‑op for up to three fireteam members. Mission Replay allows you to restart any mission, letting you hunt collectibles or experience moments again.

Co‑op does not require any purchase beyond the campaign itself, and progress is shared across solo and group sessions.

  • Coordinate fireteam load‑outs before starting a mission.
  • Use Mission Replay to locate missed collectibles after finishing the story.

02 / THE GUIDE

Free‑to‑Play Multiplayer

Halo Infinite’s multiplayer is free‑to‑play and includes over 70 matchmaking maps. Players can choose fast‑paced ranked modes, whimsical custom games, or the wave‑based Firefight: King of the Hill.

All modes support fireteam coordination, offering varied opportunities for teamwork and strategy.

  • Try a different map type each session to learn its flow.
  • Join a fireteam for coordinated attacks in King of the Hill.
