About Hadean Tactics
Hadean Tactics mixes roguelike deck‑building with autobattler combat, letting a Hero command recruited souls through procedurally generated paths. Cards influence unit actions while battles run in semi‑real‑time, ensuring each run feels distinct.
The launch includes three Heroes, six variants, over 260 cards, 34 units, 95 items, 20 Corruption levels and full controller, mouse‑only and touch‑only options. All content is single‑player and available on Windows, macOS and Linux.
01 / THE GUIDE
Heroes and Variants
Three core Heroes arrive with unique starter decks, establishing the initial strategic direction of a run. Each Hero also has six variants that adjust playstyle without changing the base deck.
Custom Heroes let players edit stats, skills and alliances, then pair any of the 260+ cards with the custom build, expanding personalization beyond the preset options.
- Compare a Hero’s base deck with a variant to see how card priorities shift.
- Use the custom Hero editor to test new skill‑alliance combos before a full run.
02 / THE GUIDE
Card Collection
The game offers more than 260 discoverable cards, each capable of steering the automatic actions of recruited units during battles.
Because maps are procedurally generated, the timing and availability of cards differ each run, encouraging flexible deck construction.
- Track which cards appear most often on your chosen path.
- Group cards by effect type to spot natural synergies.

Units and Alliances
Players can recruit from 34 distinct units, each acting automatically in combat while cards influence their decisions.
Units belong to 45+ alliances; mixing alliances changes how unit abilities interact with card effects and relics.
- Select units that share an alliance to simplify card influence.
- Experiment with contrasting alliances to discover unexpected interactions.

Relics, Items & Random Events
More than 95 items and 40+ random events appear across each map, altering combat flow or presenting strategic choices.
Relics can modify how cards function, while events present encounters that can shape the current run.
- Read event descriptions before committing to a path.
- Pair relics with cards that share a common mechanic for stronger effects.

Difficulty Levels and Save System
Twenty Corruption levels adjust enemy strength and boss difficulty, letting players scale challenge to their comfort.
The game allows saving at any time, storing the current run for later continuation.
- Begin with lower Corruption to learn unit‑card dynamics.
- Increase Corruption gradually after mastering a deck.
