About Graviteam Tactics: Mius-Front
Graviteam Tactics: Mius‑Front is a tactical battalion‑level combat simulation that continues the line of Graviteam Tactics: Operation Star and Achtung Panzer: Kharkov 1943. The game offers two distinct modes—turn‑based operational planning and real‑time tactical combat—set across four large‑scale operations for the Red Army and Wehrmacht.
More than 100 historically accurate vehicles from the USSR, Germany, the US and the UK fight over 140 km² of terrain reconstructed from maps and photographs. Detailed ballistics, destructible environments, and a sophisticated AI that adapts its strategy provide deep, replayable battles for single‑player fans.
01 / THE GUIDE
Operational (Turn‑Based) Mode
In Operational mode you shift and concentrate forces, resupply, replace units, and repair or refuel vehicles before the next engagement. Reinforcement strategies and reserve management let you shape the battlefield before combat begins.
The mode records performance statistics for each unit, including kills, losses and awards, which are displayed after each battle. This data helps you evaluate the effectiveness of your strategic choices.
- Plan unit concentrations early to maximize firepower when the tactical phase starts.
- Review after‑battle statistics to identify which units need reinforcement in future operations.

Tactical (Real‑Time) Mode
Tactical mode puts you in real‑time fire combat, capturing territory, destroying vehicles and enemy manpower. Units can lay smoke screens automatically when enemies are spotted, and you can control off‑map artillery with various fuse settings and shell types.
Dynamic weather, time of day and lighting affect visibility and passability, while realistic vision devices, flares and smoke screens add tactical depth.
- Use automatic smoke screens to conceal advancing units during low‑visibility conditions.
- Adjust artillery fuse settings to match the terrain and enemy positions for better effect.

Vehicles, Units and Damage Modeling
The campaign features over 100 detailed vehicles from USSR, Germany, US and UK, each with separate damageable components such as engine, suspension, sights and weapons. Damage to any component influences combat capability.
Soldiers have experience, stamina and morale parameters that affect behavior. Ballistic trajectories consider wind, temperature and other factors, while armor penetration uses detailed histograms and fragmentation modeling.
- Monitor component damage to decide when a vehicle should retreat for repairs.
- Keep high‑morale units in key positions to maintain effectiveness under fire.

Destructible Environment
Almost everything on the battlefield—from landscape surface and buildings to defensive installations—can be blown up or destroyed. Trench creation, explosion craters and remnants of previous battles persist until the operation ends.
Dynamic changes in time of day, light sources and weather influence visibility and area passability, adding another layer to tactical decision‑making.
- Use terrain destruction to create new cover or block enemy routes.
- Consider weather effects when planning long‑range engagements.

User Interface and Visual Customization
The game introduces a new enhanced UI with streamlined panels and a radial orders menu. Three appearance variants are included, and unit markers can be customized for Red Army, Wehrmacht and NATO forces.
An interactive encyclopedia provides detailed info on each unit, and an interactive tutorial explains most aspects of the game.
- Experiment with different UI appearance variants to find the most comfortable layout.
- Use the encyclopedia to quickly reference vehicle specs during planning.
