About Granny: Chapter Two
Granny: Chapter Two drops you into Grandpa’s dark, damp house after a bumpy car ride. You awaken in a cramped room with a headache, and the main door is sealed with multiple locks. Your goal is to explore the house, locate items, and unlock the doors to escape before the five‑day limit expires.
Granny still reacts to any sound, while Grandpa roams with poor hearing but will chase you if he sees you. A creepy creature also lurks, and you can use two temporary weapons, hide in furniture, or try the hidden sewer boat for an alternate exit.

House Layout and Objectives
The game takes place inside Grandpa’s house, which is described as dark and moist. The main door is blocked by several locks, requiring you to search the interior for keys and tools. Escaping the house before the five‑day deadline is the central objective.
Exploration includes checking rooms, closets, and hidden areas for items that can unlock doors. The house also contains a sewer entrance at the bottom, offering a secondary escape route if you can start the rusty boat.
- Take note of each lock’s location before searching for the corresponding key.
- Map the house mentally to avoid backtracking and wasting time.

Enemy Behaviour
Granny reacts to any sound you make; dropping objects or walking on creaky floors will cause her to run toward the noise. Grandpa wanders the house with limited hearing, but will chase you if he sees you.
Both characters can be temporarily stalled with two types of weapons found in the house, though the effect only lasts a short time.
- Move slowly and avoid stepping on noisy floorboards.
- Use weapons only when you need a brief window to reach safety.

Hiding and Traps
You can hide under beds or inside wardrobes to avoid detection, but you must ensure the enemies do not spot you while concealed. The house also contains bear traps that can impede your movement.
If you drop an item or step on a creaking floor, Granny will be alerted and rush to the source of the sound.
- Check the surrounding area before entering a hiding spot.
- Watch your footing to prevent triggering bear traps.

Alternative Escape: Sewer Boat
At the bottom of the house lies a sewer where an old rusty boat is located. Starting the boat and opening the gate provides a second way to leave the property.
This route requires you to locate the boat, get it operational, and navigate the gate, offering a backup if the main doors remain locked.
- Search the lower levels early to locate the boat before time runs out.
- Gather any tools that might help start the boat while exploring.

Difficulty Modes
The game features five difficulty levels: Extreme, Hard, Normal, Easy, and Practice. Practice mode removes Granny and Grandpa, allowing you to experiment without major threats while still facing some dangers.
Choosing a higher difficulty increases the challenge of evading enemies and solving puzzles, while lower difficulties provide more leeway for exploration.
- Start with Practice mode to learn item locations.
- Gradually increase difficulty as you become comfortable with enemy patterns.
