About GemCraft - Frostborn Wrath
GemCraft – Frostborn Wrath continues the dark‑fantasy tower‑defense saga. After breaking free from a frozen prison you wield wizardry, craft gems, place them in buildings and repel monster hordes on the road toward the Spiritforge. The game mixes real‑time strategy with fast‑paced combat, letting you upgrade gems, unlock skills and cast spells while you control battle speed.
The fifth chapter adds more than 100 battlefields, new lantern and pylon structures, a talisman fragment system and two extra challenge modes. It runs in native full‑HD and uses larger maps, offering veteran and new players a deeper defensive experience.
01 / THE GUIDE
Gem Crafting
You can craft and combine six gem types, each providing a distinct effect that influences your defensive layout. Gems may be upgraded in the inventory and become stronger when your mana pool levels up, allowing you to scale power as you progress.
Creation is streamlined with one‑click gem creation and a pre‑adjustable grade selector. The mouse wheel lets you upgrade gems directly in the inventory, giving quick access to stronger gems during a wave.
- Try different gem type pairings early to see which effects complement each other.
- Watch the mana‑pool level indicator; upgrading gems after a level‑up yields noticeable power gains.

Buildings & Structures
Placed gems inhabit a variety of buildings, turning those structures into active weapons. New buildable options include lanterns, pylons and more powerful shrines, expanding the ways you can position gems on the battlefield.
The game also features hostile and support structures that appear on the fields. They add new elements to the battlefield to account for as you arrange your gem‑filled buildings.
- Position lanterns near frequently travelled paths to increase gem impact.
- Use pylons as anchor points to create defensive zones that channel enemies.

Battle Modes
Endurance mode challenges you to survive as many waves as possible, rewarding endurance wave stones that can be used to extend future runs. The mode starts at wave 1 and can grow longer through stone collection.
Trial mode presents a fixed set of gem types, spells and difficulty settings, allowing you to test pure gem‑crafting skill without the variability of other modes.
- In Endurance, focus on gathering wave stones early to lengthen later attempts.
- Use Trial mode to practice specific gem‑spell combinations before tackling harder fields.

Skills & Talisman System
Leveling up unlocks two dozen passive skills that enhance your wizard’s capabilities. These skills remain available throughout the campaign and can be chosen to match your preferred play style.
Collectible talisman fragments can be socketed into a mystical talisman, granting special bonuses. The fragments fit together like a jigsaw, letting you experiment with different shape combinations for varied effects.
- Prioritise passive skills that boost the gem types you use most often.
- Gather a variety of fragment shapes to discover which talisman bonuses suit your strategy.

Visuals & Battlefield Size
Frostborn Wrath runs in native full‑HD, delivering crisp visuals across larger maps (60 × 38 tiles, each 28 × 28 px). The redesigned interface clearly displays gem types, skills and spells, making in‑battle decisions easier.
The expanded battlefield provides more space for strategic placement, allowing you to spread gems and structures without crowding. This extra room changes how enemy paths interact with your defenses.
- Use the larger map area to distribute gems, avoiding clusters that can be overwhelmed.
- Take advantage of the clear UI to adjust gem grades on the fly without pausing.
