About Garden of Witches

Garden of Witches is a fast‑paced action roguelike where you, as the Thread Witch, wield giant scissors and wield witchcraft to defeat rival witches. The game blends frantic combat with a hand‑drawn world and a story that follows five chapters and a three‑part epilogue.

Each run lets you choose scissors, spells, and special skills, then strengthen them with Imprints and Relics. Death is permanent for the run, but you keep permanent upgrades that let you experiment with new builds and increase the Garden’s difficulty.

Combat revolves around mastering enemy attack patterns and using a mix of scissors, spells, and special skills. Each boss has distinct personalities, transformations, and attack cycles that require timing and positioning.

  • Observe a boss’s pattern before committing to heavy attacks.
  • Swap spells between runs to discover synergistic combos.

Permanent upgrades persist after death, letting you refine builds and experiment with new witchcraft without losing progress.

  • Focus Imprints on a single skill to maximize its impact.
  • Balance relics between offense and defense for survivability.
