About FTS: Frontline Tank Survivor

FTS: Frontline Tank Survivor is a top‑down tank action roguelite that puts the player in full control of a tank’s movement, aiming and main gun. Players switch between armor‑piercing, high‑explosive and specialized ammunition to tackle infantry, fortifications and enemy armor.

You can summon infantry squads, armored cars and self‑propelled guns, upgrade your skills between waves, and combine machine guns, rockets, artillery and air support. Each stage ends with a powerful German armored boss, and a roster of unlockable tanks lets you experiment with different speeds and armor levels.

01 / THE GUIDE

Direct Fire Control

The game emphasizes direct fire: you control the tank’s movement, aim and main gun yourself. Switching between armor‑piercing, high‑explosive and specialized ammo lets you tailor each shot to the target type. Every shot counts, requiring careful aim and ammo selection to handle infantry, fortified positions and enemy armor.

  • Observe enemy types before firing to choose the most effective ammo.
  • Practice aiming in early waves to improve shot accuracy.

02 / THE GUIDE

Summon Allied Squads

Players can call in infantry squads, armored cars and self‑propelled guns to fight alongside the tank. These allies help hold back enemy infantry and strike enemy armor. Choosing which reinforcements to bring lets you build a small task force that complements your tank’s firepower.

  • Mix infantry with armored cars to cover both ground and armor threats.
  • Adjust squad composition based on the upcoming wave’s enemy mix.

Build Overwhelming Firepower

Combine machine guns, flamethrowers, rockets, artillery strikes, air support and allied reinforcements to turn the tank into a moving arsenal. Skills can be upgraded between waves for increasingly devastating attacks. The flexible build system lets you experiment with different weapon mixes to handle hundreds of enemies.

  • Layer area‑damage weapons like rockets with continuous fire guns for sustained pressure.
  • Upgrade skills that boost ammo types you use most often.

Powerful Armored Bosses

Each stage culminates in a legendary German tank boss with unique threats and combat challenges. Adapting tactics, selecting the right ammunition and using all available firepower are key to surviving these encounters. Bosses test the player’s mastery of movement, ammo selection and allied support.

  • Study the boss’s attack patterns before committing to a specific ammo type.
  • Use summoned allies to distract the boss while you line up high‑damage shots.

05 / THE GUIDE

Unlockable Tanks and Playstyles

A variety of tanks can be unlocked, each offering distinct strengths, weaknesses and combat styles. Options range from fast, agile light tanks to heavily armored powerhouses. Experimenting with different vehicles helps players find the tank that best matches their preferred approach.

  • Try a light tank for mobility‑focused runs and a heavy tank for survivability.
  • Compare armor and speed stats to align with your chosen weapon build.
