About Frog Sqwad 🐸
Frog Sqwad 🐸 drops you into a chaotic sewer where a sticky tongue is the only tool. Up to seven friends can join online, swing from pipes, grab objects, and nudge each other while hunting food for the Swamp King.
Each day the Swamp King sets a food quota; meeting it unlocks the next segment of the run. Eating makes frogs grow, while taking a hit forces a shrink to tiny frogspawn, creating a constant push‑pull between size and teamwork.
01 / THE GUIDE
Tongue as Tool
The frog’s tongue is described as the sole interaction device: it lets you swing, grab objects, and push friends into unexpected spots. This physics‑based mechanic underlies movement and puzzle solving throughout the sewers.
Because the tongue can also pull items toward you, players are encouraged to experiment with stacking, pulling, and improvising solutions on the fly, turning everyday objects into makeshift tools.
- Aim for distant objects to generate momentum for longer swings.
- Combine tongue pulls with teammate pushes for extra distance.

Co‑op Sewer Runs
Teams of up to seven frogs enter the sewers together, gathering food and navigating tunnels as a group. The description says the team can make its way back “however that ends up looking,” implying no fixed path.
Runs are dynamic: hazards shift and strange local inhabitants appear, meaning each session feels fresh and requires on‑the‑spot coordination among players.
- Communicate early about who will carry the bulk of the food.
- Use the tongue to launch teammates across wide gaps.

Food Quota System
Each day presents a food quota that must be met to keep the Swamp King content. Bringing back enough food unlocks “what comes next for your group,” linking progress to collective effort.
The quota encourages repeated runs and collective planning, as the amount required can vary and must be met before the day ends.
- Prioritize high‑value food items to reach the quota faster.
- Drop excess food strategically to avoid shrinking penalties.

Growth and Shrinkage
Eating increases a frog’s size; the more you consume, the larger you become, eventually becoming a rolling Megafrog that can bulldoze obstacles. This is described as “Big Frog Energy.”
Conversely, taking a hit forces you to drop food and shrink into a tiny frogspawn, described as “Tiny Frog, Big Help Needed,” making you vulnerable but easier to maneuver.
- Save growth for later stages when obstacles are larger.
- Use shrinkage to slip through tight tunnels when needed.

Voice‑Driven Mouth Animation
Players can talk naturally while playing; the frog’s mouth moves in sync with every laugh and shout. This works without timed‑input constraints, allowing freeform vocal expression.
The mouth animation provides visual feedback that matches spoken sounds, adding a layer of expressive communication during cooperative runs.
- Speak clearly before launching a teammate to cue the action.
- Keep background noise low for smoother mouth animation.
