About Friday the 13th: The Game
Friday the 13th: The Game is a third‑person horror survival title where seven players join a single match. Six players act as teen counselors while one player becomes the iconic killer Jason Voorhees.
Matches occur in an open recreation of Camp Crystal Lake and surrounding locations. Players must either escape, hide, or, as Jason, hunt the counselors, while progress is tracked through unlockable costumes and counselor customisation.

Playing as Jason

Map and Environment
Matches unfold across a large, open recreation of Camp Crystal Lake, including iconic spots such as Higgins Haven. The layout changes each session, preventing memorisation of exact item locations.
The environment offers numerous hiding places—woods, cabins, and lakeside areas—that counselors can use to avoid Jason, while also giving Jason varied terrain to stalk his prey.

Progression and Unlocks
A progressive unlock system is tied to each player’s account. As you play more matches, you gain access to new counselor customisations and additional Jason costumes from the movies.
Unlocks are earned through regular gameplay, allowing both counselors and Jason to gain visual and functional upgrades without external purchases.
