About Fort Meow
Fort Meow is a physics‑based puzzle adventure where you build pillow forts to fend off waves of cats. After Nia discovers her grandfather’s attic journal, she must protect herself using household items while the feline attackers tumble through the manor.
The game challenges you to manage a limited time resource, collect over twenty unique items with special properties, and decipher journal clues to uncover why the house is overrun. Each cat type behaves differently, encouraging strategic fort designs to survive the cat‑aclysm.

Custom Fort Building
You construct forts from furniture, pillows, clocks, toasters and other household objects. Each piece consumes part of a limited time window before the next cat onslaught, so placement matters.
As you unlock more time, you can add more elaborate layers, increasing protection against increasingly challenging feline waves. Over twenty items are discoverable, each offering a distinct property for fort design.
- Experiment with item placement early to see which structures hold up best under cat pressure.
- Balance time spent gathering items against the need for stronger walls as cat difficulty rises.

Item Collection with Move‑It‑Bot
The Grandfather's Move‑It‑Bot retrieves items from around the house and transports them to the attic for fort construction. Collecting items expands your building options and introduces new properties.
Since there are over twenty items, exploring different rooms yields varied tools, allowing you to adapt your fort to each cat type’s challenges.
- Prioritize items that offer unique defensive traits when time is scarce.
- Map out the house layout to plan efficient routes for the Move‑It‑Bot.
