About Fly Corp
Fly Corp lets you build a global airline by constructing airports, buying planes, and opening routes between real‑world cities. Each city’s population drives passenger demand, and every traveler has an individual destination, requiring layovers when direct flights are unavailable.
The game offers three main modes—Discover the World, Challenges, and daily scenarios—each with its own timing and goals. Random events and a community‑driven Scenario Editor add variety, while Steam features such as Achievements, Trading Cards, Cloud saves, and Family Sharing round out the experience.
01 / THE GUIDE
Building Airports
You can construct an airport in any city, but each airport has a maximum capacity. If passenger numbers ever exceed that capacity, the game ends in a loss, so you must balance hub size with expected traffic.
Airport capacity is independent of plane capacity; planes are purchased separately and also have limits. Matching the number of seats on your fleet to the throughput your airports can handle is essential for steady growth.
- Compare city populations before placing a new hub to anticipate passenger flow.
- Monitor airport load regularly to avoid accidental overloads.

Managing Routes & Passengers
Routes connect cities, and longer distances cost more to open. Because each passenger has a unique destination, providing enough connections reduces the need for multiple layovers and keeps revenue flowing.
When a direct route does not exist, passengers will use layovers to reach their destination. Planning routes that minimize layover chains helps keep airports from becoming overloaded.
- Add intermediate hubs in regions with long distances to shorten layover chains.
- Prioritize opening routes in high‑population areas to capture more demand.

Territory Unlocking & Game Modes
Discover the World Mode requires unlocking every territory, each costing in‑game money, and you must unlock a new territory every six minutes or lose. The timer creates a steady pacing challenge across almost 200 territories.
Challenges Mode presents preset scenarios with specific goals, such as surviving a time limit or earning a target profit. Daily scenarios add a leaderboard competition, encouraging quick adaptation to new conditions each day.
- Reserve funds early in Discover the World to meet the six‑minute unlock deadline.
- Read scenario objectives carefully before allocating resources in Challenges.

Random Events & Challenges
During play, random events may occur, ranging from positive investments to negative disasters that halt flights in certain territories. Some events are humorous, such as a lawsuit over spilled coffee during turbulence.
Challenges can simulate real‑world disruptions, for example coronavirus outbreaks that force you to rebuild parts of your network, testing resilience under unexpected conditions.
- Maintain a financial buffer to absorb negative event impacts.
- Use rebuilding phases in outbreak challenges to reassess hub placement.
