About Flamecraft
Flamecraft is a turn‑based strategy board game for 1‑5 players where you act as a Flamekeeper, placing artisan dragons in a bustling town. You gather resources from shops, enchant those shops with magical artifacts, and combine dragon abilities to earn reputation points, aiming for the Master of Flamecraft title.
The game offers both single‑player and multiplayer modes, including AI opponents of varying difficulty, online PvP, and local split‑screen play. Over 70 animated dragons and 30 uniquely illustrated shops populate a vibrant 3D town, accompanied by a whimsical score.

Gameplay Loop
Each turn you visit a shop to either collect resources such as iron, bread, or potions, or to enchant the shop using magical artifacts. Collected resources are later required to activate enchantments, which fire all dragons in that shop.
Enchantments trigger the dragons’ abilities together, creating combos that award reputation points. Reputation is the scoring metric that determines the winner when the game ends.
- Track which shops provide the resources you need most often.
- Plan enchantments after you have gathered the necessary resources.

Dragon Placement & Resource Gathering
You place artisan dragons in the town’s shopping district; each dragon helps you gather specific resources from its assigned shop. Different dragons specialize in items like iron, baked goods, or potions, building a diverse resource pool.
Placement also sets up future enchantments because when a shop is enchanted, all dragons stationed there fire together, forming ability combos that can boost reputation.
- Match dragons to shops that supply the resources you need most.
- Consider how a dragon’s placement will affect later enchantment combos.

Enchantments and Combos
Enchanting a shop uses magical artifacts and activates all dragons in that location, allowing their abilities to combine into powerful combos. These combos can generate large reputation gains or trigger one‑time effects from Companion and Fancy Dragon cards.
Effective combos often require specific resource sets, so planning your resource collection before enchantment is essential for maximizing points.
- Save high‑value artifacts for shops where multiple dragons can fire together.
- Use Companion cards after a strong enchantment to extend scoring.
