About First Racer

First Racer is an arcade‑style racing title that places the player behind a variety of cars. Races are fast‑paced and take place on distinct tracks or city streets, each offering its own features.

Players can modify performance settings, adjust handling, speed and acceleration, and personalize the car’s look with colors, stickers and wheels. The game includes several modes and supports a range of controllers and wheels.

Gameplay & Controls

The game lets you steer, accelerate and brake using a gamepad, which is described as providing a realistic and comfortable experience. A Keyboard Only Option is also listed, meaning the game can be played without a controller.

Support is provided for the FANATEC CSL Elite PS4 racing wheel, and other FANATEC wheels are expected to work. Additional wheel support from other manufacturers is planned for future updates.

  • Try both keyboard and gamepad to see which input feels more natural for high‑speed sections.
  • If you own a FANATEC wheel, connect it before a race to verify its response.

Cosmetic changes are also available, including colors, stickers, wheels and other visual upgrades, giving the car a distinct appearance.

  • Practice drifting to improve car control before tackling high‑speed races.
  • Choose Off‑Road mode if you prefer vehicles with larger tires and higher clearance.
