About Fight'N Rage
Fight'N Rage is a classic‑style 2D side‑scroller beat ’em up that channels the look and feel of 90’s arcade titles. It supports solo play or up to three players locally, with optional friendly fire for added challenge. The game’s story follows two humans and a mutant rebel fighting against a mutant‑ruled Earth after a catastrophic pulse.
The title offers fast, single‑session arcade runs that can be completed in under an hour, a deep combo system using only three buttons, and a variety of unlockable content such as costumes, extra characters, and new difficulty settings. Visual options include CRT filters and unlimited FPS for smooth performance.
01 / THE GUIDE
Gameplay Mechanics
Combat relies on three buttons—attack, jump and special attack—allowing players to chain movements into explosive juggle combos that can blow enemies apart. A parry system lets you turn dangerous moments into openings, while characters can cancel attacks into specials and escape grabs.
The game is described as easy to play but hard to master; difficulty stems from mastering each character’s moves rather than from unfair rules. Scores directly reflect skill, and a speedrun timer tracks stage times, excluding cutscene duration.
- Experiment with attack‑cancel into specials to extend combos.
- Practice timing parries in Training Mode to handle tougher foes.

Characters
Three main protagonists are available from the start: Gal, a fast kick‑boxing specialist; Ricardo, a powerful minotaur wrestler with long reach; and F. Norris, a ninja with balanced reach, power and speed but lower durability. Each handles weapons uniquely.
Beyond the main trio, more than 20 unlockable characters become playable in extra modes, letting you experience the game from enemy perspectives.
- Choose Gal for speed‑focused runs, Ricardo for damage‑heavy encounters.
- Try unlockable enemies in VS Mode to discover alternative playstyles.

Game Modes
Arcade mode offers multiple routes, cutscenes and endings that change based on selected characters and player decisions. Each route can be finished in less than an hour if mastered. A VS Mode supports one‑vs‑one battles against another player or CPU, and even CPU‑vs‑CPU matches.
Training Mode lets you practice techniques and earn belts, while a Speedrun Timer compares your current stage times against personal bests. All cutscenes are fully skippable for uninterrupted action.
- Use Training Mode to perfect combos before tackling harder arcade routes.
- Enable the speedrun timer to gauge improvement across attempts.

Unlockables and Rewards
In‑game coins earned from scores unlock extra content such as character costumes, additional difficulty settings, varied gameplay speeds, new game modes, and new characters for those modes. Progression is skill‑based; there is no experience‑point system.
Additional challenges include “Insane Difficulties” that are near‑impossible but optional, and a Black Belt rank in Training Mode that signals mastery of techniques.
- Focus on high‑score runs to accumulate coins faster.
- Aim for the Black Belt in Training Mode to test full combo potential.
