About Feign
Feign mixes a fast‑paced drawing showdown with a hidden‑role village. In New Drawing Mode, 4‑8 friends receive a random category and secret word, while one Impostor draws without a clue, leading to debate and voting.
The village mode supports up to 12 players as Innocent, Impostor, or Neutral, each with a night ability and a morning vote. Avatars can be dressed using Feign Cookies, and the game runs on Windows and macOS.

New Drawing Mode
Four to eight participants join a drawing round where everyone sees a random category and secret word except one hidden Impostor, who sketches without the clue. All sketches are then revealed simultaneously.
Players discuss the drawings, accuse the suspected Impostor, and vote. If the group identifies the Impostor, the honest artists earn points; if the Impostor remains undiscovered, they win the round.
- Keep sketches brief to give more time for discussion.
- Notice drawings that lack detail related to the category.

Role‑Based Village
Up to twelve players are assigned one of three hidden roles: Innocent, Impostor, or Neutral. Each role carries a secret objective that guides actions during the night phase.
Roles determine which abilities a player may use at night and influence how they vote in the morning, creating a cycle of suspicion and deduction.
- Clarify role expectations before the first night.
- Watch voting trends for clues about hidden agendas.

Night & Morning Cycle
During the night, each player may activate a role‑specific ability or act on their hidden agenda. These actions are not revealed until the next phase.
When morning arrives, all participants discuss the night’s events and cast a vote to eliminate one suspect, reshaping the roster for the following night.
- Take quick notes on claimed night actions.
- Balance bold moves with subtle play to avoid early detection.

Customizable Characters
Feign Cookies act as in‑game currency that can be spent to unlock visual costumes and accessories for a player’s avatar. These items alter appearance only.
Customization is optional and does not change the core mechanics of either the drawing showdown or the village mode, though distinct looks may affect how others recognize you.
- Pick a memorable outfit to be easily identified in debates.
- Combine accessories for a unique visual signature.
