About Fate/EXTELLA

Fate/EXTELLA places players in the virtual realm SE.RA.PH after a Holy Grail War, where Nero’s Servant holds the Moon Cell Automaton but faces a rival uprising and a mysterious new threat. The narrative is written by Kinoko Nasu, the original creator of Fate/stay night.

Marvelous Inc. developed the Windows‑only title for Steam, offering Japanese voice acting with subtitles and text in several languages. The game includes Steam achievements, trading cards, partial controller support, cloud saves and family sharing, all within a single‑player experience.

01 / THE GUIDE

Story and Setting

The plot follows Nero’s Servant after winning the Holy Grail War, confronting an uprising led by a rival Servant and a hidden force capable of tearing reality. Nasu’s new scenario expands the series’ universe while retaining the war’s high stakes.

The story is delivered from the independent viewpoints of three heroine Servants, with side stories that illuminate the main plot. This structure lets players experience the conflict from multiple angles and gradually uncover an ancient secret beyond the war.

  • Track which heroine’s perspective you are viewing to notice recurring plot threads.
  • Read side stories after main chapters; they often clarify secondary motivations.
