About Fatal Twelve
Fatal Twelve follows high‑school café owner Shishimai Rinka, who dies protecting a friend in a train explosion and awakens back at her shop as if nothing happened. She is soon drawn into Divine Selection, a twelve‑week ritual where twelve participants compete to reverse their deaths.
The game blends adventure storytelling with a casual investigative loop: players collect each opponent’s name, cause of death, and real‑world regret, then “elect” them to progress. Developed by LYCORIS, it is a single‑player indie title on Windows, macOS, and Linux via Steam, supporting achievements, trading cards, and family sharing.
01 / THE GUIDE
Narrative Premise
Rinka runs the Lion House café after her grandmother and lives a typical teen life until a train explosion claims her friend Naomi. Rinka shields Naomi, dies, and inexplicably returns to her café as if nothing happened.
A few days later she meets Parca, a self‑described goddess, and learns she is part of Divine Selection—a ritual where twelve people compete over twelve weeks to undo their deaths.
- Compare Rinka’s ordinary life before the explosion with the surreal world after to notice thematic shifts.
- Notice how the presence of her friend Mishima Miharu adds personal stakes to the competition.

Divine Selection Mechanics
Participants must eliminate each other by gathering three pieces of information: the opponent’s name, cause of death, and real‑world regret. Once all three are known, the player can “elect” that participant, removing them from the competition.
Collecting these data points drives the narrative forward, revealing each character’s backstory and the truth behind Rinka’s own death as the weeks progress.
- Gather all three required details before attempting an election to avoid wasted attempts.
- Use the information you uncover to anticipate other participants’ strategies.
