Livestock Management
Players can tend to pigs, cows, sheep, chickens, and, for the first time, horses. Livestock care is part of daily farm routines, requiring attention to health and basic needs.
Horses are rideable, offering a new way to move around the large open maps and observe fields without using motorised equipment.
- Check animal health indicators each day.
- Ride horses to view distant areas without driving a vehicle.

New Crop Variety
Farming Simulator 19 adds cotton and oat to the crop list, expanding agricultural options beyond previous titles. Each new crop follows its own growth cycle and requires specific equipment for planting and harvesting.
Introducing these crops can diversify income streams and encourage players to plan equipment purchases around the additional processing steps they demand.
- Review each crop’s growth stages before planting.
- Ensure you have the required machinery for the new crops.
