The environment blends harbor mist, desert heat, and urban bustle, providing varied backdrops for Krosa’s adventures and the underworld schemes that emerge.

Multiple Endings and Narrative Paths
Players can steer Krosa toward any of sixteen distinct endings, each reflecting the cumulative impact of their choices. The endings range from restoring peace to succumbing to the underworld’s scheme, offering replay value through different narrative routes. Because the story is presented on a single timeline, earlier decisions remain visible, allowing players to compare how alternate paths diverge from a common starting point.
- Save before major decision points to compare how different choices reshape the ending.
- Track which factions you align with; they heavily influence the final outcome.

Audio Style and Dark Humor
Far Away adopts Cantonese dubbing to echo classic Hong Kong crime thriller films. The dialogue is peppered with dark humor, Easter eggs, and references to anime and movies, adding a playful layer to the serious narrative. These audio and thematic choices aim to brighten the mood while maintaining the tension of the underlying conspiracy, creating a distinctive tonal blend.
- Listen for cultural references; they often foreshadow plot twists.
- Enjoy the humor as a contrast to the darker story elements.
