About Falling Face Fragments

Falling Face Fragments is a falling‑block puzzle where eyes, noses and mouths descend from the sky. Players place each fragment to assemble creepy faces and clear them for points.

The title includes four play styles, local split‑screen PvP, full controller support, Steam leaderboards, achievements and Windows/Linux support with Family Sharing.

01 / THE GUIDE

Arcade Mode

In Arcade mode you score by assembling faces and clearing them with a button press. Clearing multiple faces at once awards more points, and creating big faces earns acid, which can be used to clear badly placed fragments.

The falling speed rises over time, and force‑drop arrows appear more often. Clearing faces reduces difficulty proportionally to the number cleared, and the round ends when any fragment reaches the top row.

  • Watch the speed curve; larger clears early keep the pace manageable.
  • Use acid when fragments threaten to reach the top row.

02 / THE GUIDE

Multiplayer Mode

Multiplayer is a local head‑to‑head battle where each player clears faces to send force‑drop arrows at the opponent. Creating big faces also temporarily freezes some of the opponent’s fragments.

The first player whose fragment lands in the top row loses the match, making both offensive clears and defensive freezes important in this split‑screen PvP.

  • Prioritize big faces to gain freeze time against your opponent.
  • Balance sending arrows with keeping your own stack low.

Mission Mode

Mission mode presents a series of levels with specific objectives, such as emptying the screen, clearing a set number of faces at once, or avoiding hazards like the caterpillar or the cat.

Levels may start with pre‑placed fragments and limit either the number of falling pieces or the time available, requiring careful planning to meet each goal.

  • Survey pre‑placed fragments before the first drop to plan your placement.
  • Focus on the primary objective first; secondary tasks can be handled later.

04 / THE GUIDE

Crazy Arcade Mode

Crazy Arcade blends Arcade and Mission modes, delivering back‑to‑back missions that grant extra time when completed. Missions are randomly selected, so each run varies.

A dedicated Crazy Arcade leaderboard tracks scores, encouraging players to clear missions quickly while maintaining a high overall point total.

  • Complete missions quickly to maximize the extra time you receive.
  • Adapt to random mission order by keeping a flexible placement strategy.

Achievements and Skins

Each Steam achievement you earn unlocks a new in‑game skin. Each achievement earned adds a new skin to the game.

Achievements are tracked on Steam, and each one unlocks a new in-game skin.

  • Check the achievement list to see which skins you’re missing.
  • Try varied game modes to increase the chance of earning new achievements.
