About Factory Town 2: Paradise

Factory Town 2: Paradise drops you onto an empty tropical island. After gathering initial resources you can erect houses, shops, roads, and factories, which draws villagers who work, purchase goods, and generate income for further upgrades and expansion.

The game adds conveyor belts, trains, catapults, ziplines, water physics, dams, and power lines, letting you automate production and manage water and electricity. Feeding a friendly volcano yields new recipes, technology, and extra islands, while a day/night cycle adds visual depth.

01 / THE GUIDE

Island start and basic construction

You begin on an uninhabited island surrounded by ocean. Harvesting wood, stone, and other raw materials lets you place the first houses, shops, roads, and factories, which in turn attract villagers to settle and work.

Villagers purchase the items you produce, providing income that can be spent on building upgrades and new structures. As your economy expands, you can spread across additional islands that appear later in the game.

  • Gather a mix of basic resources before committing to a permanent building layout.
  • Lay down roads early to keep villagers moving efficiently between structures.

02 / THE GUIDE

Automation with belts, trains, catapults and ziplines

Supply chains can be automated using conveyor belts, trains, catapults, and ziplines. These devices move items between farms, factories, and storage without manual handling, helping to clear production bottlenecks.

Choosing the right transport method depends on distance and terrain. Long‑range routes often benefit from trains, while short loops may be more compact with belts or catapults.

  • Test a short belt loop before committing to a larger train network.
  • Use catapults to bridge gaps where building roads or tracks is difficult.

03 / THE GUIDE

Feeding the volcano for recipes and upgrades

A friendly volcano deity watches your settlement. By delivering items into the volcano you earn its favor, which unlocks new recipes, technologies, and upgrades that broaden production possibilities.

When enough favor is accumulated, the volcano can summon fresh islands from the ocean floor, giving you additional land for expansion when your current area becomes crowded.

  • Feed items that you produce in surplus to accelerate reward acquisition.
  • Monitor the volcano after each feed to notice when new islands appear.

04 / THE GUIDE

Water management and power generation

Digging trenches and placing dams lets you direct spring water from mountains to farms and reservoirs, ensuring crops stay hydrated. Proper water flow is essential for consistent food production.

Waterwheels and windmills convert flowing water or wind into drive shafts that boost processing speed or generate electricity, which travels through power lines to run refrigerators, furnaces, and other equipment.

  • Position dams close to natural springs for a steady water supply.
  • Connect power lines to powered equipment such as refrigerators and furnaces for reliable operation.

05 / THE GUIDE

Item variety and worker‑boosting stats

The game lets you produce dozens of items, including tropical drinks, pastries, ice cream, coffee, clothing, jewelry, books, medicine, and potions. Each product carries specific worker‑boosting stats that affect how well your villagers perform their tasks.

Selecting which items to manufacture should reflect the resources you have and the current needs of your town, allowing you to tailor production toward the most beneficial stats for your population.

  • Match production to the worker stats that are currently lowest in your town.
  • Balance luxury goods with essential supplies to keep both satisfaction and basic needs met.
