About Faaast Penguin
Faaast Penguin is a survival‑action racing game where up to 40 players compete in fast‑paced races. Players stomp, jump and boost to gain speed, while shortcuts and ultimate abilities add strategic depth. The game offers solo, party and custom matches, and supports cross‑platform play across Windows PCs.
Sixteen worlds host more than 64 courses, each with unique gimmicks such as water lifts, monkey rides, ninja scrolls and snowboarding. Players can customize costumes, carts and emotes without affecting performance, and earn sardine cans to trigger a temporary invincibility ultimate.
01 / THE GUIDE
Core Racing Mechanics
Stomping on rivals or objects triggers a speed boost and a high jump, turning a simple slide into a decisive attack. Boosts are essential for overtaking and for accessing hidden routes.
Shortcuts appear throughout each stage; chaining attacks lets players reach otherwise inaccessible paths. Successful shortcuts can dramatically increase lead, but mistimed attacks may send racers off‑course.
- Time your stomp just before a jump to maximize boost distance.
- Practice chaining attacks on a practice run to learn shortcut locations.

Ultimate Ability
Collect cans of sardines during a race to fill the ultimate meter. Activating the ultimate makes the player invincible for a limited period, allowing aggressive use of shortcuts and attacks.
During ultimate mode, players can destroy course gimmicks, send rivals flying, and close gaps in the final stretch, creating opportunities for comeback victories.
- Save the ultimate for a crowded shortcut to clear the path.
- Activate ultimate near the finish to secure a lead.

Course‑Specific Gimmicks
Each world introduces distinct mechanics: water lifts in Miami, monkey rides in the Amazon, ninja scrolls in Japan, and snowboard tricks on snowy peaks. Mastering these gimmicks provides extra speed or shortcuts.
The variety of gimmicks encourages players to adapt strategies per course, rewarding those who learn the specific interactions of each environment.
- Focus on one world at a time to master its gimmick.
- Combine gimmick use with attacks for faster shortcut access.

Multiplayer Modes
The game supports solo play, party play for up to four local players, and custom online matches for up to 40 participants. Survival races consist of four courses; only the top performers advance.
Cross‑platform compatibility lets Windows players race against anyone on the service, and the game includes Steam achievements and in‑app purchases.
- Use custom matches to practice with friends before entering large races.
- Aim for consistent high placements across all four courses to survive.

Player Customization

Customization options are unlocked through gameplay and can be mixed to create unique looks for each race.
- Experiment with different emotes to communicate during races.
- Keep a set of distinct costumes for quick visual identification of teammates.
