01 / THE GUIDE
New Teams and Driver Line‑ups
Audi replaces Sauber and Cadillac joins as the first major American manufacturer, expanding the 2026 grid. The driver roster updates with Arvid Lindblad at Racing Bulls, Isack Hadjar alongside Max Verstappen at Oracle Red Bull, and Valtteri Bottas and Sergio Pérez leading Cadillac.
These changes affect both the 2025 season and the transition to 2026, creating fresh rivalries and influencing team strategies in career and multiplayer modes.
- Review the new line‑ups to understand each driver’s typical performance profile.
- Consider how the new manufacturers alter the balance of power when planning your My Team roster.

MADRING™ Circuit
MADRING™ is a hybrid street‑and‑purpose‑built track set in Madrid, measuring 5.4 km with 22 corners. It is the first new F1 circuit introduced since 2023 and can only be driven with 2026 cars.
The layout mixes high‑speed sections with tight technical parts, requiring precise braking and stability, which showcases the active‑aerodynamic features of the 2026 generation.
- Practice the 22 corners in time‑trial mode to learn the hybrid layout.
- Focus on maintaining aerodynamic balance through the high‑speed sections.

2026 Cars and Regulations
The 2026 cars are lighter, smaller and feature active aerodynamics, delivering a more responsive drive. Improved physics support both seasoned pros and newcomers, and the cars work with gamepads or keyboards.
These specifications apply only to the 2026 season; the 2025 season retains its previous vehicle characteristics, meaning players must select the appropriate generation for each calendar.
- Test both controller types to see which feels more natural with the active‑aero cars.
- Observe how the lighter chassis reacts to braking and corner entry.

Career & My Team Customization
Konnersport’s Legacy lets players design their own team, enhance cars and create liveries with movable, scalable or rotatable logos. Driver numbers can be customized, and liveries reflect Formula One branding.
Custom teams and career saves from the 2025 season do not transfer to the 2026 season, and Konnersport or APXGP teams cannot be added to 2026 Driver Career or My Team.
- Plan liveries early to avoid re‑creating them when switching seasons.
- Use the logo tools to make your team visually distinct in multiplayer.

Multiplayer & Co‑op Modes
F1® 25 includes online co‑op events where squads race against AI, plus split‑screen and LAN options for PvP and co‑op play. Cross‑platform multiplayer and full controller support broaden accessibility.
Steam achievements, VR support and optional in‑game purchases of virtual currency are also available, providing extra content for players who choose to use them.
- Coordinate with teammates in co‑op events to cover different track sections.
- Test split‑screen performance before entering competitive online races.
