About Exo Rally Championship
Exo Rally Championship thrusts players into the galaxy’s most dangerous off‑road rally, where advanced RCS‑thruster rovers race across alien landscapes. The game combines a hardcore physics simulation with procedurally generated stages, extreme weather, and terrain that can break hardware.
A career mode inspired by real‑world rally, Baja and Dakar events lets you rise from underdog to champion while customizing, tuning and repairing your rover. The built‑in Stage Editor lets you craft custom rally courses spanning up to 10 km², share seeds and compete asynchronously on Steam leaderboards.
01 / THE GUIDE
Procedurally Generated Stages
Each race takes place on a stage that the game generates at runtime, guaranteeing that no two playthroughs are identical. Terrain, weather and obstacles are created from a seed, so the environment changes each time you start a new race.
Because the same seed can be shared, friends can race the exact same course even though the events are asynchronous. Comparing times on identical terrain highlights the impact of rover setup and driving technique.
- Share a seed with a friend to experience the same terrain challenges.
- Try different rover configurations on the same seed to see which handles the generated obstacles best.

Career Mode
The career mode follows a structure based on real‑world rally, Baja and Dakar events, moving you from low‑tier rover classes toward the top‑level Exo Rally Championship. Progression is tied to race results and class advancement.
Within the career, you manage customization, tuning and repairs, allowing you to adapt your rover to the diverse alien environments you encounter across the season.
- Prioritize upgrades that address the most common terrain hazards you face.
- Balance performance upgrades with durability to survive hardware‑breaking conditions.

Stage Editor
The Stage Editor lets you place checkpoints across massive alien landscapes up to 10 km², creating custom rally routes. Once designed, stages can be shared via seeds for others to attempt.
Custom stages can be entered into online rally events, where each participant races the same course on their own schedule and competes for positions on Steam leaderboards.
- Design checkpoints to highlight interesting terrain features for a more engaging race.
- Test your stage at multiple difficulty levels to ensure it remains challenging yet fair.

RCS‑Style Thruster Physics
Rovers are equipped with fuel‑limited RCS thrusters that enable jumping, landing and air control, adding a vertical dimension to the hardcore off‑road physics simulation.
Because thruster fuel is limited, bursts must be used strategically, especially in windy or temperature‑extreme sections where precise air control can prevent damage.
- Reserve thruster bursts for critical jumps or steep slopes.
- Monitor fuel consumption during practice runs to gauge how much thruster aid you can afford.

Online Asynchronous Rally Events
Players can join online rally events without a shared start time or live lobby. Each participant races the same brutal stage at their convenience, and times are posted to Steam leaderboards.
This format lets you compare your performance against a global pool of racers while fitting races into any personal schedule.
- Check the leaderboard after each run to see where you stand and where improvements are needed.
- Use the same seed for multiple attempts to refine your line and reduce time.
