About Erenshor

Erenshor is a single‑player adventure that emulates the feel of classic late‑90s MMORPGs. You begin stranded on a small island, then spend dozens of hours building a character that can wield god‑level weapons, spells, and armor against fearsome foes.

Hundreds of SimPlayers populate the world; they level independently, trade loot, join guilds, and remember how you treat them. Their persistent presence lets you experience MMO‑style group content while the game remains strictly solo.

01 / THE GUIDE

Simulated Players

SimPlayers are pre‑written digital companions that exist throughout the world. They level up whether you are online or not, find items on their own, and may even invite you to raids as they get to know you.

Each SimPlayer has a fixed personality and motivation, which influences how they buy, sell, and request loot. Their memories of your actions affect whether they join future groups, providing a dynamic solo experience.

  • Observe a SimPlayer’s early behavior to anticipate future cooperation.
  • Offer loot when possible; friendly SimPlayers are more likely to assist later.

02 / THE GUIDE

Loot and Monster Drops

Every monster and NPC respawns after defeat and drops loot ranging from common swords to legendary treasure. Rare items may appear in a monster’s inventory, and you can repeat the encounter if the desired drop does not appear.

Loot is the primary means of increasing power; each upgraded item provides a tangible increase. Gold obtained from drops can be used for purchases or traded with SimPlayers.

  • Farm a monster repeatedly if you need a specific rare item.
  • Balance combat difficulty against loot value to avoid unnecessary wipes.

World Zones and Exploration

The game world is divided into distinct zones—cities, dungeons, forests, beaches, forts, caves, and mountain ranges. Zones are unique and can be traversed at will, encouraging exploration regardless of readiness.

Factions exist within zones; actions such as wiping out a town affect your reputation there, potentially opening or closing access to other areas. This creates strategic choices about where to fight.

  • Visit several zones early to discover varied loot types.
  • Consider faction impact before attacking a town to preserve future services.

04 / THE GUIDE

Multiple Character Slots and Shared Bank

Players can create multiple characters, each with the option to start with a massive advantage such as XP bonuses. All characters share a shared bank that stores items across characters.

The shared bank lets you transfer valuable loot between characters, while the XP‑bonus start can accelerate early leveling for a new class, giving flexibility in experimenting with builds.

  • Use an XP‑bonus start for a new class to reach higher levels faster.
  • Deposit rare items in the shared bank to keep them safe across character switches.

05 / THE GUIDE

No Microtransactions and Economy

Erenshor contains no microtransactions; all items, gold, and upgrades are earned through gameplay. The in‑game economy is driven by loot drops, loot drops and player‑to‑SimPlayer trade.

Because there are no paid shortcuts, progression relies on persistence, strategic combat, and effective use of the shared bank and SimPlayer interactions.

  • Focus on consistent monster farming to build wealth without external purchases.
  • Trade with SimPlayers to acquire items you might not find yourself.
