About Endzone - A World Apart
Endzone – A World Apart places you 150 years after a global ecological disaster, leading a settlement on a hostile surface where radiation, contaminated rain and extreme climate persist. You must provide shelter, food, water and motivation for men, women and children while navigating a world that constantly threatens survival.
The game offers over 70 building types, dynamic humidity and radiation on each ground cell, and environmental challenges such as droughts, sandstorms and raider attacks. Your decisions shape the fate of the last human survivors and drive the unfolding storyline.
01 / THE GUIDE
Settlement Building
Construction centers on placing more than 70 distinct buildings, from homes and farms to depositories and markets. Streets link structures, forming an infrastructure that supports your economy and the movement of settlers.
Each building satisfies specific needs—shelter, education, motivation—allowing you to meet basic requirements of your population. Thoughtful layout also helps protect structures from environmental hazards.
- Cluster related buildings to shorten travel routes for settlers.
- Use streets to create clear paths for resource transport.
02 / THE GUIDE
Resource Management
Gathering and refining a variety of resources fuels construction and survival. You must balance water, food and fuel while maintaining stockpiles for droughts and sandstorms.
Markets and depositories store and distribute resources, ensuring a steady supply for settlers and enabling response to sudden shortages.
- Prioritize water purification early to mitigate contaminated rain.
- Keep a surplus of food before a predicted drought cycle.

03 / THE GUIDE
Environmental Hazards
Every ground cell tracks humidity and radiation, making terrain itself a challenge. Threats include radioactive rain, droughts, sandstorms and raider raids that can damage structures and harm settlers.
Protective gear, active coal filters for water, roofs over fields and digging to lower radiation are documented methods to mitigate these dangers.
- Install coal filters before the first contaminated rain event.
- Build roofs over fields to preserve crops during sandstorms.
04 / THE GUIDE
Expeditions
You can send parties to ruins and forgotten locations, uncovering resources and story elements. Decisions made during these trips influence the overall fate of your settlement.
Expeditions add depth to the survival experience by revealing more of the shattered world and its forgotten places.
- Choose expedition targets that promise unique resources.
- Weigh the risk of raider encounters against potential rewards.

Scenarios & Storyline
Multiple scenarios each have specific winning conditions and a distinct storyline that tests survival skills. Side missions further address settlers’ needs and enrich the narrative.
Progressing through scenarios reveals the broader context of the ecological disaster and the remnants of humanity’s past, giving purpose to each building and decision.
- Focus on scenario objectives before optional side missions.
- Use storyline clues to prioritize your settlement's longer-term goals.
