About Echo Point Nova
Echo Point Nova, from Greylock Studio, drops you onto a mysterious planet where a ruthless mercenary force exploits ancient technology. You play as an explorer with strong combat skills, able to follow the main quest to dismantle their operations or wander the seamless open world at your own pace.
The title supports solo play and up to four‑player online co‑op via Steam Friends invites. A single save is shared between solo and co‑op sessions, and each participant can adjust their own difficulty within the same multiplayer game.
01 / THE GUIDE
Seamless Open‑World Mobility
The planet is presented as a completely seamless world, meaning travel occurs without loading screens. Mobility tools such as a grapple hook, hoverboard, and various unlockable powers let you reach any distant vista the developers placed on the map.
Because the world is uninterrupted, players can plan routes that combine these tools. The design encourages checking high‑ground locations and hidden corridors where the developers have hidden weapons, enhancements, and cosmetics.
- Test the grapple hook on vertical cliffs before switching to the hoverboard for horizontal travel.
- Look for elevated platforms; they often hide extra gear.

Flexible Single‑Player and Co‑Op Gameplay
Co‑op can be started from the beginning with no mandatory tutorials, allowing players to jump straight into action. Progress is saved to a single file that is used for both solo and co‑op play, so your progress carries over regardless of mode.
Within the same multiplayer session each player may set an individual difficulty, and co‑op is limited to Steam Friends invites; the game does not provide random matchmaking.
- Invite a friend early to experience co‑op without waiting for a tutorial.
- Adjust each participant’s difficulty to match their comfort level.

Enemy Variety and Colossal Bosses
Combat encounters feature distinct enemy classes: pyromancers launch area attacks, sappers plant turrets, and helicopters rain rockets. Each class forces a different tactical response, encouraging use of mobility tools and weapon choices.
The main quest leads to towering colossi, and similar colossal foes can appear during free exploration, providing high‑stakes battles outside scripted missions.
- Watch enemy attack patterns; pyromancers favor area damage while sappers focus on turret placement.
- Keep a mobility tool ready for sudden helicopter attacks.

Collectibles, Power‑Ups and Cosmetics
Agility orbs are scattered across the world and increase your mobility when collected. Weapon attachments become available as you rack up kills, providing functional upgrades to your arsenal.
Stylish cosmetics are also hidden throughout the environment, offering visual customization for players to discover. Both types of items reward exploration and combat engagement.
- Prioritize agility orbs if you want to enhance your mobility.
- Search hidden areas for exclusive cosmetic items.
