About EarthX 2
EarthX 2 lets you run a space‑company from a single launch pad to interplanetary colonies. You design rockets, choose payloads, and manage contracts that send crews, cargo, and scientific missions to the Moon, Mars, and beyond. The game blends building, logistics, and strategic planning as you expand factories, automate production, and grow a satellite internet service.
Progress is guided by career objectives or sandbox freedom. As milestones are hit you unlock new vehicles, buildings, destinations, and capabilities, while news stories and mission events react to your successes and failures.
01 / THE GUIDE
Rocket Construction & Launch
You manufacture rockets, orbiters, capsules, and ships, then assemble compatible launch configurations for each payload. Selecting the right vehicle and preparing infrastructure are required before a mission can fly.
Launches are followed through in‑game webcasts that show telemetry, stage separations, and landings. Training simulations let you try helicopter catches, propulsive landings, and docking before committing to a real flight.
- Compare vehicle specs against payload mass to avoid over‑designing early rockets.
- Use the in-game webcasts to spot inefficiencies in stage separation timing.
02 / THE GUIDE
Recovery & Reuse
After a flight you can bring vehicles home, service them, and ready them for another mission. New recovery methods become available as you progress, and each craft’s condition and flight history are tracked.
You may give rockets nicknames and watch their performance across multiple flights, allowing you to evaluate the benefits of reuse versus building anew.
- Monitor a vehicle’s condition after each flight to decide when refurbishment is needed.
- Experiment with different recovery methods to see which yields the fastest turnaround.

03 / THE GUIDE
Satellite Internet Network (LinkLink)
Build LinkLink, a satellite internet service, by manufacturing routers and satellites and expanding a constellation supported by ground relays. You manage coverage, bandwidth, and subscription prices to generate steady income.
Automation tools let you set production targets and schedule vehicle programs, helping keep the network supplied without constant micromanagement.
- Balance bandwidth upgrades with subscription pricing to avoid over‑saturating the network.
- Use production targets to keep satellite manufacturing in line with demand spikes.
04 / THE GUIDE
Moon & Mars Colonies
Transport people and cargo to build housing, power, water, oxygen, and food supplies on lunar and Martian bases. Local mining and manufacturing let you produce materials on‑site, reducing reliance on Earth shipments.
Shipments take time, so you must plan storage and production to survive between deliveries. On Mars you can work toward terraforming and watch planetary changes over time.
- Schedule cargo deliveries ahead of known consumption peaks to avoid shortages.
- Compare the output of local mining versus imported materials to optimize costs.

Career vs. Sandbox Play
Career mode provides objectives and milestones that unlock new vehicles, buildings, destinations, and capabilities as you meet them. Sandbox mode lets you explore without career objectives.
Both modes feature news stories, mission events, and public reactions, giving context to your actions regardless of the play style you choose.
- Start in sandbox to familiarize yourself with vehicle options before tackling career milestones.
- Use career milestones as a checklist for progressive expansion when you prefer guided play.
