About Dream Town Island

Dream Town Island lets you design a settlement from a blank island. You can place restaurants, convenience stores, movie theaters and other facilities to shape the town’s look and function.

Residents can work, marry and have children, creating multiple generations. Travel options include cars, bikes and UFOs, and you can expand the map by reclaiming land and adjusting terrain height.

01 / THE GUIDE

Town Development

The game starts with an empty island where you can place a variety of commercial and civic buildings such as restaurants, stores and theaters. Each placed building adds a new service to the town.

As you add more buildings, additional stores and facilities become unlocked, allowing you to attract further citizens and continue expanding the settlement.

  • Mix basic and specialty buildings early to see which unlocks appear first.
  • Check the building list after each new placement for newly available options.

02 / THE GUIDE

Resident Life Cycle

Citizens can spend their entire lives in the town, finding jobs that match the available facilities. Employment is tied to the types of buildings you have constructed.

Residents are also able to get married and have children, which creates new generations that continue to live in the same town.

  • Provide a range of workplace types to support different resident needs.
  • Observe family growth as the population increases.

03 / THE GUIDE

Transportation Options

Walking is not the only way residents move around town. The description lists cars, bikes and UFOs as additional travel methods available to citizens.

These transport modes are presented as style choices for moving between locations, without specifying any placement requirements.

  • Try each transport type in a small test area to see its visual representation.
  • Compare how residents appear when using different vehicles.

04 / THE GUIDE

Pet Variety

A wide selection of pets is available, ranging from common cats and dogs to more unusual options such as elephants. The description emphasizes the breadth of choices.

Pets can be obtained for your town, offering players the ability to include both familiar and exotic animals in their settlement.

  • Experiment with both common and exotic pets to see the visual mix they create.
  • Consider placing unusual pets in focal districts for distinct character.

05 / THE GUIDE

Land Reclamation & Terrain

When the island runs out of buildable space, you can reclaim land from the sea. This adds new area that can be used for additional structures.

After reclamation, the terrain height can be customized, allowing you to shape hills, valleys or flat regions that fit your design preferences.

  • Plan the shape of reclaimed sections before placing buildings.
  • Use height adjustments to create visual landmarks.
