About Desecrators
In the year 4096 humanity’s warring factions litter the Milky Way with massive installations brimming with technology, weapons, and riches. As a notorious desecrator aboard the FTL cruiser Nightingale you raid these sites to amass firepower for the ultimate heist: the legendary vaults of the Galactic Treasury.
Desecrators offers unrestricted 3‑D movement, a roster of more than 25 guns, missiles and mines, and a randomized procedural campaign. Players can tackle the full campaign solo, with up to three friends in online co‑op, or in full‑VR mode, all while enjoying full controller support.
01 / THE GUIDE
Full 3D Movement
The game lets you roll, strafe, climb and dive, removing any fixed up‑or‑down orientation. This freedom lets you weave through particle fire and swarms of homing missiles while engaging enemies from any angle.
Because movement is not limited to a plane, you can approach combat vertically, thread narrow corridors, and retreat through open space without being constrained by traditional level geometry.
- Try climbing before a missile wave to see if altitude changes affect dodge timing.
- Combine rolling with strafing to create unpredictable paths that confuse enemy targeting.
02 / THE GUIDE
Weapon Arsenal
Desecrators features a roster of over 25 guns, missiles and mines. Among them are a close‑range plasma thrower that disintegrates enemies and a high‑explosive railgun for long‑range precision.
Each weapon can be used to blast through enemy formations, destroy installation defenses, or clear pathways, giving players multiple tactical options for any encounter.
- Use the plasma thrower when enemies cluster tightly to maximize disintegration.
- Reserve the railgun for elite war machines that stay at a distance.

03 / THE GUIDE
Procedural Campaign
Each playthrough presents a different path through a randomized campaign. Levels are procedurally generated and filled with enemies, traps and hidden secrets, ensuring variety between runs.
The randomness means that no two runs are identical, encouraging players to adapt their load‑out and tactics to ever‑changing layouts and threat placements.
- Explore each new corridor thoroughly; procedural design often hides extra loot.
- Adjust your weapon mix after the first encounter to match the types of enemies you encounter.

Rival Desecrators
Three‑way warfare pits you against squads of rival desecrators who seek the same loot. Installation defenses target both you and rival squads with equal hostility.
Managing both AI opposition and rival desecrator fire creates a layered tactical environment where you must balance offense, defense, and opportunistic positioning.
- Watch rival fire patterns; shared threats can open safe corridors.
- Coordinate with teammates to focus fire on a rival squad, reducing overall incoming damage.

VR and Co‑op Support
The full campaign can be experienced in VR, either solo or with up to four players online. VR places the player directly inside the 3‑D battlefield for the full campaign.
Online co‑op lets up to four players coordinate assaults, share firepower, and divide responsibilities while still confronting the same procedural challenges and rival desecrators.
- Use voice chat to assign roles—one player can focus on crowd control while another targets elite units.
- Leverage VR’s depth perception to time dives and rolls against missile swarms.
