About Depth
Depth drops players into a dark underwater arena where they can become either a shark or a diver. The game mixes stealth, teamwork and fast‑paced combat, letting you hunt or survive against AI or other players.
With seven shark species and a diver’s arsenal of spearguns, pistols and underwater rifles, each match feels tense under dynamic lighting, while progression is tracked through stats, achievements and unlockable upgrades.
01 / THE GUIDE
Shark Play
Choose from seven shark species, each relying on speed and heightened senses to locate prey. Sharks can stalk opponents across the ocean and tear them apart with razor‑sharp teeth. The legendary Megalodon is among the options, offering a distinct presence in combat.
Shark abilities are expanded through "evolutions" that unlock new tactical possibilities as you continue playing. These evolutions are tracked persistently, allowing players to develop a personalized hunting style.
- Use the shark’s speed to close gaps quickly before opponents can react.
- Experiment with different evolutions to find a playstyle that matches your preferred hunting tactics.
02 / THE GUIDE
Diver Play
Divers explore the abyss searching for treasure while defending themselves with a range of gear, including spearguns, pistols, underwater assault rifles and explosive sea mines. This equipment lets divers confront sharks and other threats directly.
Diver progression is tied to unlocking exotic new weapons, giving players more options to adapt to the underwater battlefield.
- Upgrade your arsenal early to keep pace with increasingly aggressive shark opponents.
- Utilize mines to control choke points and limit shark movement.

Atmosphere and Lighting
Dynamic lighting and shadows create a gut‑wrenching atmosphere that keeps players on edge. The darkness of the ocean amplifies tension, making each encounter feel more visceral.
The visual design emphasizes dread, ensuring that both sharks and divers feel the weight of the deep sea environment.
- Stay aware of shadowed areas where enemies may be hiding.
- Use lighting cues to anticipate opponent positions.
