About Deceit 2
Deceit 2 is an online PvP experience that tests trust and deception. Players join an ancient Ritual, claim a hidden Role, and try to Escape while figuring out allies and foes. Three secret teams—Innocent, Infected, and Cursed—compete, and no one knows their teammates at the start.
The Ritual unfolds across five atmospheric locations, each with unique layouts and Tasks. Completing Tasks unlocks Items for the Shop, and players can equip investigative, offensive, or defensive tools. Competitive play offers seasonal leaderboards, rank progression, and exclusive rewards for the strongest opponents.

Team Structures
Three hidden teams—Innocent, Infected, and Cursed—play simultaneously. Each participant is assigned a Role without knowing their teammates, forcing constant suspicion. The lack of visible alignment means players must read behavior and actions to deduce loyalties.
Team dynamics shift as players choose when to cooperate or betray. Because no one knows who shares their side, alliances are temporary and can dissolve at any moment, creating a volatile social environment.

Ritual Locations
The Ritual takes place in five distinct locations, each designed with its own atmosphere and hazards. Layouts differ between sites, requiring players to adapt their movement and positioning.
Each site presents unique challenges and strategic considerations. Because the environment changes, players must modify their approach to Tasks and confrontations to maximize chances of Escape before being Banished.

Tasks and Shop
Innocent players must complete Tasks scattered around the Ritual Site to progress toward Escape. Successful Task completion also unlocks Items that become available in the communal Shop.
Players can purchase investigative, offensive, or defensive tools from the Shop. These items influence gameplay by adding new options for interaction, combat, or information gathering, making each Shop visit impactful.

Progression and Leaderboards
Players climb ranks by performing well in competitive Rituals. Rank advancement grants exclusive rewards, reflecting skill and consistency.
Seasonal leaderboards track performance over set periods, allowing players to challenge top opponents and aim for the title of Master of Deceit.

Subjects and Customisation
Each match features nine selectable Subjects trapped within the Ritual. Players can level up individual Subjects, unlocking new visual customisations stored in the Collection.
Players can personalise their Subjects' looks through unlocks stored in the Collection.
