01 / THE GUIDE
Open World Environment
The game presents an expansive Australian landscape where terrains shift seamlessly, from deserts to forests, each affected by dynamic time, weather and natural disasters such as earthquakes, sandstorms and forest fires. These conditions alter navigation and resource needs, encouraging players to adapt their routes.
Timefall rain ages objects instantly, adding a layer of urgency to deliveries and infrastructure building. Players must plan routes that consider these environmental hazards to maintain cargo integrity and personal safety.
- Check weather forecasts before long trips to avoid Timefall‑damaged cargo.
- Use high‑ground positions during sandstorms for better visibility.

Combat and Stealth Options
Sam can confront threats with fabricated weapons like machine guns, shotguns and grenade launchers, or avoid conflict using stealth tools such as decoy holograms, silent takedowns and long‑ranged gear. APAS enhancements let players improve weapon fire‑rates or reduce movement noise.
Enemy types include enigmatic Mech soldiers, unseen BTs and new boss variants, each demanding different tactical approaches, whether aggressive firepower or quiet evasion.
- Upgrade APAS for reduced noise when sneaking past BTs.
- Carry a decoy hologram to distract Mech soldiers during a rush.
