About Crusader Kings III
Crusader Kings III lets you pick a noble house and guide its dynasty through the Middle Ages. You can start in 867, 1066 or 1178, and every decision shapes the future of your heirs and realms.
The game spans from the Nordic north to Burma in the east, filling the map with peasants, knights, courtiers and historic figures. Traits, lifestyles and genetics affect each character, while you can customize appearance, titles and even create a new faith.

You can influence an heir’s development by assigning guardians or educating them yourself, and you may arrange marriages or remove unsuitable heirs by other means.
- Select guardians whose traits complement the heir’s strengths.
- Arrange marriages that bring titles without needing war.
