About Crown Siege
Crown Siege is a short incremental game where you grow an army to defend a kingdom against endless waves. You recruit troops, defeat goblins for gold, and use experience to level up units and claim crowns that unlock upgrades for both army and tower.
The game expands across a fantasy land, presenting new realms with unique challenges. As your forces become larger and abilities stronger, you can withstand increasingly overwhelming hordes.
01 / THE GUIDE
Recruit and Defend
At the start you recruit spawn troops that guard the kingdom’s entry point. These units form the first line of defense against incoming goblins and other enemies, and each wave pushes the defense harder.
Defeating enemies yields gold, which can be spent on additional recruits or upgrades. This cycle of recruitment, defense, and gold collection forms the core incremental loop of the game.
- Balance early recruitment with saving gold for upgrades.
- Watch how enemy numbers grow to time new troop placements.

Upgrade the Kingdom
Experience earned from battles lets you level up units and claim crowns. Each crown unlocks upgrades that strengthen both your army and your tower, improving defensive capability.
Investing in upgrades early makes later waves more manageable, as stronger towers and units reduce pressure from tougher enemy formations.
- Prioritize upgrades that increase tower durability.
- Combine unit level‑ups with crown upgrades for balanced growth.

Progressive Challenges
Each wave becomes progressively harder, testing the strength of your build. New enemy types appear as you advance, requiring adjustments to recruitment and upgrade strategy.
Entering new realms introduces unique challenges, prompting you to adapt tactics. The rising difficulty serves as a benchmark for how far your army has grown.
- Adjust unit composition when new enemy types appear.
- Use each new realm as a checkpoint to evaluate upgrade effectiveness.
