About Coromon
Coromon is a monster‑taming RPG offering a 30+ hour story where players collect over 120 Coromon. You begin as a Battle Researcher in Hayville and travel through six distinct biomes—fields, a thunder city, a haunted swamp, a desert palace, a volcano, and frozen mountains—while uncovering a larger mystery.
The Remastered edition is optimized for PC with clearer menus, mouse‑hover information and quick battle actions. It supports single‑player, online PvP, cross‑platform multiplayer, partial controller input, Steam achievements and trading cards.
01 / THE GUIDE
Six Distinct Biomes
The game world is divided into six biomes, each with its own visual style and challenges. Players start in the fields around Hayville, then move to a thunderous city, a haunted swamp, a guarded desert palace, a volcanic interior, and finally frozen mountains leading to ancient ruins.
Side quests, secrets and minigames appear along the way. Access to new areas often requires upgrading the Gauntlet or gaining water‑travel capability, encouraging gradual exploration and discovery of hidden items.
- Observe environmental cues; some routes open only after the Gauntlet upgrade.
- Take note of biome‑specific hazards, as they can affect battle conditions.

Coromon Collection & Evolution
Players can catch and train more than 120 Coromon, including rare Potent and Perfect variants that are distinguished by unique colors. These rare forms grant additional bonus stat points that the player can allocate themselves.
Coromon may evolve for higher base stats, or remain unevolved to enhance their Trait with stronger effects. Choosing evolution or Trait enhancement shapes how each creature performs in battle.
- Compare the stat gains from evolution versus Trait enhancement to decide which path fits your strategy.
- Collect Potent and Perfect Coromon early to maximize the bonus points available for distribution.

Stamina‑Based Strategic Battles
Battles use a stamina system where every Skill consumes energy. Overusing skills forces a Coromon to rest, giving the opponent an opening, so managing stamina is as important as selecting powerful moves.
Success also depends on Skills, Traits, held items, entry hazards, weather and status effects. Adapting to these variables lets players outsmart wild Coromon, rival researchers and Titans.
- Plan a mix of low‑cost and high‑impact skills to avoid forced rests.
- Watch weather and entry hazards; they can swing the advantage toward your squad.

Player‑Driven Customization & Difficulty
Coromon lets players shape the experience by adjusting shop generosity, battle pressure, or enabling Randomize settings that alter encounters, Skills, Traits, items, evolutions and Titan order. Outfits, hairstyles, facial hair, headgear and colors let you personalize your Battle Researcher.
Skins for Coromon unlock through collecting, battles, side quests and minigames, providing visual variety.
- Experiment with Randomize settings to discover new strategic combinations.
- Use outfit changes as visual markers for different playstyles you try.

Multiplayer Modes & Battle Dome
After the story, the endless Battle Dome offers Coromon Rush, Trainer Rush and Titan Rush challenges. Players can test strategies in ranked, casual or custom battles against other players online.
Cross‑platform multiplayer lets Windows and macOS players compete together, and the game includes Steam achievements and trading cards.
- Start with casual matches to gauge opponent strategies before entering ranked play.
- Observe how stamina management changes when facing different opponent team sizes.
