About Coridden
Coridden is an old‑school hack‑and‑slash action RPG that lets players shift between a human avatar and fully realized monster forms, each with its own skill trees and abilities. The shapeshifting system is central to both combat and traversal across the hostile planet Heera.
The game supports solo play and drop‑in/drop‑out co‑op for up to four players, both locally via split‑screen and online. Players assume the role of one of four siblings, exploring open areas, uncovering side quests, and seeking the secrets of a legendary city.

Shapeshifting Mechanics
Players can switch freely between human and beast forms, using each form’s strengths for combat, navigation, and obstacle overcoming. The beast forms also act as faster traversal tools, allowing players to cross terrain that would block a human.
Both forms develop through gear, attributes, and dedicated skill trees. Humans choose from four classes, while beasts draw from seven masteries, giving players the ability to customize progression in each identity.

Combat System

Success depends on recognizing when to shift forms and when to employ abilities, as each enemy type presents distinct challenges that can be mitigated by the appropriate form.

Co‑op Features
Up to four players can join in drop‑in/drop‑out co‑op, either offline/locally or online. The mode adds a team mechanic where players can ride on each other’s backs, forming a cavalry unit.
